ESP has discontinued  the ever popular 4-bolt Championship Ported 30.5cc kit, but the good news is, it is replaced with “New Generation Championship Ported” 30.5cc kits. (both with the higher performance level “Championship porting” over my lower level “race porting“ kits).

This is the ESP 30.5cc New Generation “High Torque kit“.  Power is very similar to the discontinued kit, but a tad more power and a slightly wider usable power curve.  Great for scooters, RC cars, and Helicopter flyers are loving the power and smoothness of the ESP 30.5cc kit.  Peak power is about 6.4 hp, (with the DDM HPI Baja side mount pipe), on the “calibrated”ESP dyno (Note, ESP may have the only “calibrated” dyno in the industry), at about 13,800 RPM, and will rev between 17,000 and 18,000 rpm.   Different pipes will yield different results in performance (The Quick Draw hot pipe would make it rev higher, but lose some low end grunt,--for one example).  Usually, the stock clutch  spring works well with this porting.

This it the "High Torque" version of the ESP 30.5cc kit, if you are interested in the  "High Rev" 30.5cc kit - see item cc286HR (found in the "also purchased with this item" listing at the bottom of this page

As always with ESP, you can expect top performance (with a good set up and proper carb tuning), quality control that is almost impossible to beat, with attention to detail that is unmatched in the industry.  All that, with a price others can not match (considering the work done) and friendly, informational, telephone customer service that is way above the industry standard.  I don’t outsource my CNC work, and do every bit of the work myself,--so I can guarantee you this.

I highly recommend using the Zenoah G240/G270/G290 sealed 3rd crank bearing, (Replaces your large diameter crank seal, if your not using the 3rd bearing now. Not sold with the kit), and the Zenoah 2mm crank, for the best crank stability with these engines (not sold with the kit).

Now it is time to go out and beat your friends with those more expensive engines from the other guys.  I feel sorry for them; I know your friends work hard for their money also and I am sure they are nice people.  I hope they don’t take it too hard.

If this kit is being used with Zenoah watercooled engines (or Airplane engines) the DD327 crankshaft, which is longer, must be used in place of the dd308/3312/dd324.

Fits 4-Bolt Crankcases (G240RC/G270RC/G290RC Only.)  This 4-bolt cylinder is NOT compatible with 2-bolt engines or cases!
