Introducing the “New Generation” ESP 30.5cc top end kits.
(Written by Doug @ ESP)

These kits can be used with a 0.005" copper gasket for best performance. You will need to seal the copper gasket with a small amount of silicone sealant. The gaskets can be purchased here. You can run a stock thickness .020" gasket, but it will limit the performance of this particular kit.

ESP has discontinued the ever popular 4-bolt Championship Ported 30.5cc kit, but the good news is, it is replaced with “New Generation Championship Ported” 30.5cc kits. (both with the higher performance level “Championship porting” over my lower level “race porting“ kits).

This High Rev kit is for racing applications only!

This is the ESP 30.5cc kit New Generation “High Rev” 30.5cc kit. If you thought a 30.5cc engine can not rev, prepare to be corrected. This kit (with the Quick Draw hot pipe), peaks about 6.75hp at about 16,000 rpm and revs to 19,500 on the ESP dyno. This kit, ,with the Quick Draw pipe held a oval marine record for the 30.5cc class for over 2 years, and they need top end power to set records. Different pipes will yield different results in performance. This kit is significantly lower in power in the lower RPM range, and may not be the best for your application. It was made for people who have the room to let a engine scream, and it may need a higher RPM clutch spring or adjustable clutch (better yet) to engage where the engine makes good power. Not recommended for Tight RC tracks and area’s, Scooters or Helicopters.

This it the "High Rev" version of the ESP 30.5cc kit, if you are interested in the "High Torque" 30.5cc kit - see item cc286 (found in the "also purchased with this item" listing at the bottom of this page

As always with ESP, you can expect top performance (with a good set up and proper carb tuning), quality control that is almost impossible to beat, with attention to detail that is unmatched in the industry. All that, with a price others can not match (considering the work done) and friendly, informational, telephone customer service that is way above the industry standard. I don’t outsource my CNC work, and do every bit of the work myself,--so I can guarantee you this.

I highly recommend using the Zenoah G240/G270/G290 sealed 3rd crank bearing, (Replaces your large diameter crank seal, if your not using the 3rd bearing now. Not sold with the kit), and the Zenoah 2mm crank, for the best crank stability with these engines (not sold with the kit).

Now it is time to go out and beat your friends with those more expensive engines from the other guys. I feel sorry for them; I know your friends work hard for their money also and I am sure they are nice people. I hope they don’t take it too hard.

Thanks for considering/using my stuff.

If this kit is being used with Zenoah watercooled engines (or Airplane engines) the DD327 crankshaft, which is longer, must be used in place of the dd308/3312/dd324.

Fits 4-Bolt Crankcases (G240RC/G270RC/G290RC Only.) This 4-bolt cylinder is NOT compatible with 2-bolt engines or cases!
