PhatDad-Rc has stepped up to the plate with this very much needed upgrade for HPI Baja RTR or SS. PhatBones are machined from a high grade stainless steel and then heat treated to a Rockwell "C" average 44 at 200.000 psi tensile strength. These PhatBones are truly heavy duty.These work especially well with the Turtle Racing modified differential shafts and drive shafts for maximum strength. Includes free set of axle boots (HPI Part #86479).
The Turtle Racing modified drive cup/diff shaft set consists of a modified version of HPI part number 86488 (drive shaft set)and 86470 (differential shaft set). A custom-made strengthening ring has been welded to the outside of the cups to add rigidity to the cups.
