SLITZELL CONCEPTS GP460 CYLINDER REED KIT

The Slitzell Concepts GP460 bolt-on reed kit allows the user to convert the CHUNG YANG®-GP 460 to an intake mounted reed valve system. Reed valves increase performance throughout the entire RPM range, especially in lower RPM’s. The kit comes standard with Polini® blue carbon fiber reed petals. Reed housings are designed to pulse the carburetor fuel pump externally. This allows the user to easily interchange Walbro® HDA and WJ style large bore carburetors. Reed housings come exclusively engraved. The Slitzell Concepts GP460 bolt-on reed kit comes with the following components:

-         Engraved reed cage housing

-         Reed cage, carbon fiber petals and retainers

-         Composite carburetor insulator and all gaskets.

-         Necessary hardware for installation

NOTE:

- It is highly recommended to “reed port” the GP460 cylinder to achieve the reed valve’s maximum potential. An experienced porter should be considered if user is not capable of performing work.

-  External fuel pump pulse modification is required to carburetor of choice. If user is unable to perform this modification, an experienced engine builder should perform this modification. (this does not apply to HDA style carburetors(except hda48)as they are equipped with external fuel pump pulse from factory.)
